We have four garden areas that once looked like a desert on the moon but now are lush with plant live. When it comes to that which gets life from soil, mother nature has a helper in my wife, Christina. Everything she touches grows.
It is a good thing she has this gift because my green gift is the antithesis. I tested my skills on my very own adopted plant. It didn’t work out so well for George (yes, he had a name). No plant should have to endure what I did to poor George.
Fortunately, Christina accepted him as a foster plant and he made a spectacular recovery. I have decided to stay out of the horticulture business. I am much better with hammers, screw drivers and pliers than with shovels hoses and water.
